The status LED will remain active for one hour after the ignition
turns off, as a reminder that valet mode is on, but always turns
off while driving.
Use the following steps to manually enter and exit alarm/security
valet mode:
Insert your key in the ignition
barrel, and turn it to the ON

position.

Press the PTS button once or
twice.*
Turn the key to the OFF position.

Press the PTS button once more.
Immediately press and release the control

center button once.
* The number of times the PTS button is pressed depends on the vehicle.
Check with your installer for the correct number. Make sure you do not
have your foot on the brake pedal during this step.
The siren/horn (if connected) will emit two long chirps when
entering alarm/security valet mode, and one long chirp when
exiting.
