G Operating instruction
Thank you for choosing a Hama product.
Take your time and read the following instructions and
information completely. Please keep these instructions
in a safe place for future reference. If you sell the device,
please pass these operating instructions on to the new
owner.
1. Explanation of Warning Symbols and Notes
Warning
This symbol is used to indicate safety instructions or to
draw your attention to speci c hazards and risks.
Note
This symbol is used to indicate additional information or
important notes.
2. Package Contents
• Tablet PC holder made of aluminium
• Allen key
• These operating instructions
Note
Please check that the package contents are complete
before installing the holder and ensure that none of the
parts are faulty or damaged.
3. Safety Notes
• The product is intended for private, non-commercial
use only.
• Use the product for its intended purpose only.
• Do not use the product in moist environments and
avoid splashes.
• Do not use the product in the immediate vicinity of
heaters or other heat sources or in direct sunlight.
• Do not attach any other objects to the product.
• Keep the packaging material out of the reach of children
due to the risk of suffocation.
• Dispose of packaging material immediately according to
locally applicable regulations.
• Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids
the warranty.
• Observe the other warnings and safety instructions.
Warning
• Ensure that the product does not exceed its maximum
permitted carrying capacity and that no load exceeding the
maximum permitted dimensions is attached (Fig. 4b).
• Make sure that the product is loaded symmetrically.
• During adjustment, ensure that the product is loaded
symmetrically and that the maximum permitted carrying
capacity is not exceeded.
4. Mounting the holder
Note
• Ensure that the tablet PC is inserted in such a way that
the label of the holder is readable (Fig. 1).
• Make sure that the tablet PC holder is attached to the
carrying arm so that it is not in the release position (Fig.
2). Otherwise, the tablet PC and holder might fall and be
damaged or cause injuries.
• Proceed step by step in accordance with the illustrated
installation instructions (Fig. 1–2).
5. Use as a stand
Note
• Make sure that the holder stands at a right angle
(Fig. 3). Otherwise there is a risk of the holder tipping
forwards/backwards and damaging the tablet PC.
• Place the product only on at, non-slip surfaces that can
bear the weight of the product and the device attached
to it.
