Radio projection clock
with weather forecasts
Item no. 67 25 60
Use in accordance with manufacturer's instructions
The product has a conventional LC display for showing the time, alarm, date, day of the week and internal tempera-
ture as well as an integrated projector, which can also project this information on the ceiling.
A wider LC display serves to show the weather forecast symbols, which are calculated on the basis of the air pres-
sure characteristics.
The time and date are automatically adjusted according to the DCF time signal. However, they can also be set manu-
ally (e.g., when there are reception problems).
As a special feature, an LED-light is also integrated (3 adjustable brightness levels).
The power is supplied from the power supply unit included in the delivery. As a backup function in case of power
outage, 4 AAA/Micro batteries can be inserted.
Read these operating instructions completely and carefully; they contain very important information about installation,
operation and handling. Observe all safety instructions!

Safety Instructions
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe these safety
instructions! We do not assume liability for any resulting damage.
We do not assume any liability for material and personal damage caused by improper use or
non-compliance with the safety instructions. In such cases the warranty will be null and void.
• The unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not permitted for safety and com-
pliance reasons (CE). Never dismantle the product.
• The product is not a toy and must be kept out of the reach of children. It should be operated out of the
reach of children.
• The design of the wall plug transformers complies with protection class II. Only use a proper outlet of
the public supply system as a voltage source for the power supply.
• The product is only intended for use in dry, indoor locations.
The wall plug transformer must not get damp or wet! There is a risk of a lethal electric shock!
• When the product is taken from a cold to a warm room (e.g., during transport), condensation may
be produced. This could damage the product. The wall plug transformer also poses the risk of a
potentially fatal electric shock!
Wait until the product has reached room temperature before using it. This may take several hours.
• Make sure that the connection cable to the wall plug transformer is not pinched or damaged by sharp
edges.
• Do not leave packing materials unattended. They may become dangerous playthings for children.
• The product should not be exposed to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, intense vibrations or
heavy mechanical stresses.
Handle the product with care; it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental drops, even from a
low height.
• If you have any questions that are not answered in this manual, please contact our technical service
or another specialist.
General information on batteries/rechargeable batteries
• Batteries must be kept out of the reach of children.
• Do not leave batteries/rechargeable batteries lying around; they could be swallowed by children or pets. If swal-
lowed, consult a doctor immediately; there is a danger to life!
• Check that the polarity is correct, when inserting the batteries/rechargeable batteries (pay attention to plus/+ and
minus/-).
• Make sure that batteries/rechargeable batteries are not short-circuited, dismantled or thrown into a fi re. There is a
risk of fi re and explosion!
• Old or fl at batteries can leak liquid chemicals that may damage the device. If not used for a longer period (e.g., in
case of storage), remove the inserted batteries/accumulators.
• Contact of leaking or damaged batteries/rechargeable batteries with the skin can cause acid burns; therefore, use
suitable protective gloves.
• Only use batteries/rechargeable batteries of the correct size and the recommended type.
• Always replace the complete set of batteries/rechargeable batteries.
• Use either 4 batteries or 4 rechargeable batteries; never mix standard batteries with rechargeable batteries. Al-
ways use batteries/rechargeable batteries of the same type and from the same manufacturer. Do not mix batteries/
rechargeable batteries with different charges (fl at and half-discharged batteries/rechargeable batteries).
The batteries/rechargeable batteries serve only as a backup function in the case of a power outage (or
when you wish to operate the wireless projection clock in different locations).
If you wish to insert rechargeable batteries, then you should exclusively use NiMH-rechargeable batter-
ies with low self-discharge.
We recommend that you only use quality alkaline batteries in the wireless projection clock, as these
have a higher output voltage than rechargeable batteries (battery = 1.5 V, rechargeable battery = 1.2 V)
and thus guarantee a backup function for a longer time.

Insert batteries (Backup function)
• The batteries serve only as a backup function in the case of a power outage or when you wish to set up the radio
projection clock in a different location. The radio projection clock must always be operated via the included AC
power adapter.
• Rotate out the screw "M" on the back side. Then remove the battery cover.
• Insert 4 type AAA/Micro batteries in the correct polarity direction into the battery compartment. Then replace the lid
of the battery compartment again and screw it down fi rmly.
• We recommend that you replace the batteries at least every 2 years. Outdated batteries can leak and damage the
radio projection clock, causing loss of warranty.
Getting Started
• Remove the protectors from the display and from the projector (F).
• Connect the low voltage plug of the included power supply (P) to the corresponding low voltage socket (O) in the
radio projection clock stand. Then plug the wall plug transformer into a mains socket.
• The radio projection clock emits a few beeps, and then the white integrated LED light is illuminated. In the lower
display, the symbol "
In the DCF signal, it is dealing with a signal being broadcast from a
transmitter in Mainfl ingen (near Frankfurt am Main). Its range is up
to 1,500 km and, under ideal reception conditions, even up to
2,000 km.
Among other things, the DCF signal includes the precise time
(theoretical deviation of 1 second in a million years!) and the date.
Of course, this eliminates the tedious manual setting of summer
and winter time, as the time change occurs automatically.
This process lasts approx. 10 minutes. In case of successful re-
ception, the symbols "

If the symbol "

The radio projection clock starts a new reception search after 3
hours. Let the radio projection clock look for a new DCF signal overnight, as here the reception is better.
You can also manually start a DCF reception search by pressing the "SET/WAVE" button (A) briefl y.

You can turn off the white LED light by holding the "SNOOZE/DIMMER" button in for about 2 seconds.
Then the upper part of the wireless projection clock should light up in color; this is the color display for
the weather forecast. Slide the "BACKLIGHT" switch (L) to the position "LO" or "OFF".
