• Drilling position for actuators operating on 110/230V~ (AC), top-hung window (opening outward).
10.5. Assembly for top-hung window - opening outward.
If in doubt, or for any other applications, contract the manufacturer.
For correct assembly, comply carefully with the instructions provided below.
a) Use a pencil to draw the center line of the window "X" (Fig.2) or divide it into equal parts when assembling more than one SYNCRO
actuator.
b) Use the frame brackets "A" supplied and the window bracket "C" not supplied art. 05922 or art. 05923 (sold separately).
c) Mark the positions of the drilling points on the frame, following the guidance provided in the drawing provided above, in point 10.4.
Attention: the reference for line "X" is the center line drawn previously (see point "a" above), while the reference for line "Y" is the
edge of the window.
d) Drill holes in the window in the points marked.
e) Fit the brackets (A) on the window with flat head screws as specified above. Check the horizontal and vertical alignment of the
brackets.
f) Fit the top-hung connection (C) on the window.
g) Complete the assembly by connecting the end of the chain to the quick connection hook "E" using the pin "D" Ø5x40 (supplied), and
position it centrally (Fig.4).
h) Connect the actuator to the brackets by engaging the slots on its end with the pins provided.
i) Turn the actuator through 90°, move the end of the chain towards connection "C" and insert the pin "D" into the slot in it. Engage the
quick connection hook with the bracket Fig. 5). The connection is quite stiff when first connected; this is normal, since the pieces have
to adapt to their positions.
j) Make the electrical connections in accordance with the diagram provided below, or the label affixed to the power supply cable.
k) Check that the chain exit point is perfectly aligned with the bracket. Otherwise, loosen the fixing screws and move the bracket into the
correct position.
l) Perform a complete window opening and closing trial. After closing, check that the window is completely closed by inspecting the
compression of the seals.
m) The actuator limit stop position during closure is established automatically. The device applies a traction force of more than 350 N,
which ensures that the gaskets are perfectly compressed.
