hearing protection, up to a maximum output of 72 dB(A). The third setting is high, which will amplify the
environmental sounds up to a maximum of 82 dB(A). Each setting is indicated by a unique tone.
Automatic Power Off
To conserve battery power, the earplugs will automatically shut off if the Power/Volume button has not
been pressed for 2 hours. During the last 60 seconds before shutoff, a verbal "timeout" message will
repeat every 10 seconds. Reset the automatic shutoff timer by pressing the Power/Volume button.
Low Battery Tone
When less than one hour of battery life remains, a tone will be emitted and will repeat every five minutes.
Power Off
On each earplug, press and hold the Power/Volume button for two seconds until a double beep is heard.
Note: When the earplugs are properly fitted in the ear canal, the noise attenuation is achieved whether
the earplugs are powered on or powered off.

CARE, CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

The earplugs and charging case can be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Clean the charging contacts on the
earplugs and/or charging case if debris is visible or if you experience problems charging the earplugs.
3M UltraFit Eartips
Wash eartips with warm water and soap as needed. Look for tears or cracks under any of the flanges.
Replace as needed.
Skull Screw and Torque Eartips
Clean by wiping with a clean cloth. Replace if the tip is damaged, detached from the stem or is stiff or rigid.
Note: This product may be adversely affected by certain chemical substances. Further information
should be sought from the manufacturer.
