PROBLEMS
Solutions:
O
clean or replace the filter;
O
adjust the tension of the belts or replace
them;
O
check the soapy water joints and make
sure ther are no leaks;
O
contact a technician for a complete check
up of the system;
O
control the check valve and clean the
single components (fig. 14) .
WARNING
This operation has to be carried out
when the tank is completely empty.
The oil level is subject
to abnormal changes
Possible reasons:
O
excessive oil consumption;
O
leakage;
O
tendency to emulsifty and increase;
Solutions:
O
general check up of the pump and
replacement of the piston rings;
O
find out where the leaks are and intervene
accordingly;
O
change the oil more often and move the
compressor in drier and warmer areas.
Strange noises and vibrations
Possible reasons:
O
loose or worn parts;
O
the system is old;
O
incorrect moving of the compressor;
O
the head outlet pipes are damaged.
Solutions:
O
make sure that the nuts and bolts are fixed
correctly;
O
check the pumping system;
O
improve the basis supports;
O
replace the delivery pipe.
