re, contact to water and heat), chemical
(water absorption, ion exchangement,
excretions) and biological effects
(physiological stimuli, vascular reactions
etc.) are influenced in a positive way resp.
intensified.
Thermal effects are intensified as the
influence of the bubbling air improves the
heat exchange between water and body.
The mechanical influence of the bubbling
air leeds to vibrations of the body wall

The multitude small and big air bubbles
effect the receptors of the sensory hairs,
the skin and the muscles which cause a
total reaction of the autonomic system.
The intensity of breathing and therefore
the volume of breathing rise. This reaction
of the body is favorable for the use of
therapeutic effective bath additives,
prescribed by your doctor, especially for
inhalation.

Cleaning and maintenance
After the water has been let out switch on
the blower unit and allow bath water to
drain away with the bubble mat in
operation. This ensures that dirt is not
collected in the air outlet nozzles.
Switch off the appliance, then disconnect
the hose, first from the blower unit and
then from the mat. Water return stop val-
ves in the blower unit prevent water from
entering through the hose in the applian-
ce. Any residue from bath additives etc.
can be removed with a sponge. Do not
use abrasive scouring agents or solvents.
After cleaning rinse the bubble mat on
both sides.
Residues from especially hard water could
block the nozzles in the mat. In this case,
use a vinegar cleansing agent according
to the corresponding user instructions.
After that rinse the mat with fresh water.
Attention!
Do not use any decalcifying agents, they
could damage the enamel surface of the bath.
Wipe clean the housing of the appliance
with a damp cloth. The air hose and the
accessories can be cleaned when neces-
sary in lukewarm water with a little
washing-up liquid.
With the hook provided hang up the mat
with the hose connector hanging down-
wards so that any remaining water can
drain away (Fig. 5).
