5.3 Building in
This teppan yaki can be built into a worktop or kitchen unit.
Attention!
The bottom side of the teppan yaki becomes hot. Make sure to leave a gap of at least 5
cm between the bottom side of the teppan yaki and the underlying surface of the kitchen
unit. Therefore, do not put anything combustible in a drawer that has been fi tted directly
underneath the teppan yaki.
Cut opening in worktop

Saw the opening in the worktop. This should be done very accurately (see building in
dimensions).

If the woodtop is made of treated wood, then coat the sawn surfaces of the top with
sealing varnish, to prevent moisture causing the top to swell.
