• Remove hair regularly from the apparatus by shaking it lightly or
by blowing on it.

• Clean the apparatus after each use.
• The apparatus can be cleaned while dry or wet.
• Watch out! If you want to wet it for cleaning, first remove the
plug from the wall socket and then unplug the cord from the
apparatus.
• Do not use an abrasive scrub or any cleaning agent that contains
alcohol, petrol or acetone.
• Clean the apparatus only with the accompanying brush.
Dry cleaning: first remove the comb. Press your thumbs in the
middle of the shaver head so that it jumps open. Don't let the
shaver head fall.
Clean the inside to the head with the accompanying brush. After
cleaning, re-affix the shaver head on the apparatus. Wipe the
apparatus with a damp cloth.
No need to oil or grease the apparatus.
Wet cleaning: by using the Lift & Wash button, you can clean the
apparatus under lukewarm running water. The temperature of the
water must not exceed 70°C.
The trimmer is not completely water-proof, so never place it in a
water-filled sink.
When wet cleaning, always check that the apparatus is switched
off and the electricity cord is removed.
Press on the Lift & Wash button and hold the apparatus under the
tap so that the water can rinse away any leftover hairs in the
cutting component (See picture).
Allow the apparatus to dry while in
an open position. Afterwards close the
apparatus (you will hear a `click').
Wipe the apparatus with a damp cloth.
Watch out! Never submerge the appara-
tus in water (for example in a sink or bath filled with water).

At the end of its lifespan, dispose of the apparatus in an
environmentally friendly method.
Remove the shaver head. Separate as many parts as possible
for separate waste processing.
