Assembly
Mount rim tape, tyres and tube
1 Fit rim tape (recommended: thin rim tape of 16 mm in width)
2 Install wired or folding tyres and tube according to the manufacturer's specifications Water with some
detergent or mounting fluid can facilitate the assembly
3 Inflate the tyres up to the maximum allowable pressure In doing so, take the weaker partner into account
Please note the maximum allowable air pressure of the rim

Too high air pressures can lead to failure of the rim in combination with the rise in
WARNING
temperature during braking (rim brake model) The safe use of the rims can be ensured
only within the limits of air pressure Do not use any latex or plastic tubes These will not
withstand the resulting temperatures during braking
4 Check the correct fit of the tyre This must sit uniformly over the entire circumference of the rim Most tyres
have a raised circumferential line over the tyre bead This facilitates the checking process for correct fit If in
doubt, please ask your dealer for checking
5 Next, if necessary, reduce the tyre pressure to the desired operating pressure
In order to not damage the rim, only use tyre levers made of plastic Metal tyre levers

with sharp edges could damage the rim flange The tyre lever may only be supported on
the horn for levering the tyre The tyre lever must not be applied below the braking flank
for levering In order to protect the decoration of the rims, we recommend the application
of tyre levers only on the decoration-free intermediate pieces
