INTRODUCTION AND USE OF THE MANUAL
This manual contains information on the assembly and
set-up of the Geomix 4 Mixer.
The manual is an integral part of the machinery and should
be stored in a safe place, where it is easy to retrieve and
consult.
USE OF THE MANUAL
Installation should only be carried out by authorised
and trained personnel. Tecomec is not liable for any
use of this manual by unauthorised personnel.

PRODUCT LIABILITY

Tecomec is not liable if:
- The routine maintenance operations set out in this
document are not carried out during the lifetime of the
machinery.
- Components other than Tecomec original parts are used
on the machinery
- The instructions in this manual are not followed, partially
or completely
- Unauthorised modifications are made to the machinery

RESIDUAL RISKS

Only clean water should be used for any testing and
simulation operations. The use of chemical products may
harm those in the vicinity of the machinery.
The operator should check for the presence of any visible
defects on the machinery before start-up.
It is mandatory to maintain all plates with the hazard and
safety signs in perfect condition.
Do not use the machinery for any purpose other than those
specified in the manual.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PICTOGRAMS ON THE
MIXER
Wear appropriate eye protection.
Wear, where necessary, appropriate protection
against toxic fumes and vapours.
Wear suitable protective gloves.
Wear protective footwear.
Wear special overalls for body protection.
Follow all the safety information recommended

by the manufacturer of any chemical
compounds used.
Smoking is prohibited during the preparation
and use of chemical products
Eating and drinking is prohibited during the
preparation and use of chemical products.
INSTALLATION (FIG. 3)
Install the Mixer so that:
- The lid opens without problems.
- The valve controls can be accessed and are not covered
by other parts of the machinery.
- The mixer is positioned at a height of no more than 1
metre (measured from the main tank opening).
Connect the pump using the couplings provided; any
additional couplings should be ordered separately.
Do not apply pressures over 15 bar to the mixer.
