CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1.
Unplug the appliance from the power supply when it is not in use and before
cleaning.
2. Wash the ceramic pot (2) and hinged lid (4) with a damp cloth in warm, soapy
water or non-abrasive detergent after each use.
3. Wipe the main unit (1) with a damp cloth or a wet sponge, followed by a quick
wipe with a dry towel.
4. If food remains stuck to the ceramic pot (2), soak the pot with water before
cleaning. Scrub the pot with a non-abrasive nylon pad or brush.
5. Never use solvents and abrasives, hard brushes, metallic or sharp objects
for cleaning. Solvents are harmful to health and will attack the plastic parts.
Abrasive cleaners and tools will scratch the surface.
6. The appliance should be stored safely and in an upright position. Make sure it is
not plugged into a wall outlet.
7. Inspect the power cord before each use and make sure it is not damaged.
TROUBLESHOOTING
The slow cooker is not working. What should I do?
1.
Make sure that the power cord is properly connected to the main unit and the
wall outlet.
2. The slow cooker's outer surfaces are hot. Is this normal?
This is normal if you have been cooking a stew for a long time.
3. What should I do if the appliance or power cord is damaged?
Do not operate the appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, or if it has
malfunctioned or been dropped or damaged in any manner. Contact our after-
sales service team to arrange a repair or replacement.
