Getting Started

• Place the LED table lamp only on an even, stable, and suffi ciently large surface, e.g. a writing
desk.
Protect valuable surfaces by using an appropriate underlay; otherwise it may cause
scratches or pressure marks.
• Connect the low voltage plug of the LED table lamp to the appropriate connector on the
provided wall plug transformer.
Then plug the wall plug transformer into a standard wall socket.
Caution!
The LED table lamp may only be used when powered by the included wall plug
transformer. This is not a conventional wall plug transformer with fi xed and solid
output voltage but a LED converter with constant current of 700 mA.
If you connect a conventional power adapter to the LED table lamp, this will lead to
the immediate destruction of the lamp, loss of warranty!
• To switch the LED table lamp on/off, use the on/off switch on the top of the stand ("I" = On,
"O" = Off).
• Align the lamp head as desired using the fl exible goose neck.
During operation, the lamp head becomes hot around the LED. If you wish to
change the angle of the LED table lamp, touch the lamp head carefully, risk of burns!

Maintenance and Care

• The LED table lamp does not require maintenance. The LED bulb is permanently installed
and cannot be replaced.
• Before carrying out any cleaning of the LED table lamp, the lamp must be switched off and
disconnected from the mains voltage. Unplug the wall plug transformer from the mains socket.
Then, allow the LED table lamp to cool down suffi ciently.
• The exterior of the LED table lamp should only be wiped with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Do
not use aggressive cleaning agents or chemical solutions that could damage the housing
(discolouring) or impair operation.
Do not press too hard on the surfaces, as scratches might appear.
Dust can easily be removed using a clean, soft brush and a vacuum cleaner.
Handling
• The product is only to be used in closed, dry indoor locations. The product must
not get damp or wet! There is a life-threatening hazard through an electric shock!
• Never use the product immediately after it has been taken from a cold room to a
warm one. The condensation that forms might damage the product under certain
circumstances. The wall plug transformer also poses a risk for a potentially fatal
electric shock!
Allow the product to reach room temperature before connecting it to the power
supply and putting it to use. This may take several hours.
• Avoid the following adverse conditions at the installation location and during trans-
port:
- Excessive humidity or dampness
- Extreme cold or heat, direct sunlight, proximity to heaters
- Dust or fl ammable gases, fumes or solvents
- Strong vibrations, impacts or blows
- Strong magnetic fi elds such as those found in the vicinity of machinery or loud-
speakers
• Any maintenance or repair work may be performed only by an authorised repair
shop.
• When setting up the product, ensure that the cables are neither kinked nor
pinched.
Place the cables in such a way that nobody can trip over them.
Disposal
Dispose of an unserviceable product in accordance with the relevant statutory regu-
lations.
