Intended Use
The product is intended to be used to provide illumination in dry, enclosed spaces, e.g. on a
desk.
The safety instructions must be observed at all times!
Any use other than that described above could lead to damage to this product and involves
the risk of short circuits, fi re, electric shock, etc. No part of the product may be modifi ed or
converted!

Explanation of the symbols
The lightning symbol in a triangle is used to alert you to potential risks of personal
injury, such as electric shock.
This symbol indicates specifi c risks associated with handling, function and use.
The "Hand" symbol indicates special tips and operating information.
The wall plug transformer is designed according to safety class II.
The LED table lamp is designed to protection class III.
The product may be installed and used only in dry, enclosed conditions indoors. The
product must not get damp or wet as there is danger of a fatal electric shock!

Safety Instructions
Please read all instructions before using this device, they include important
information on its correct operation.
The warranty will be void in the event of damage caused by failure to observe
these safety instructions! We do not assume any liability for any resulting
damage!
We shall not accept liability for damage to property or personal injury caused
by incorrect handling or non-compliance with the safety instructions! In such
cases, the warranty will be null and void.
a) General
• Unauthorised conversion and/or modifi cation of the product is not allowed for
safety and approval reasons (CE).
• The LED table lamp is not a toy and should be kept out of the reach of children!
Children do not realize the danger arising from the incorrect use of electrical
devices. Therefore, be especially careful when children are around!
Furthermore, there is a risk of injury if the LED table lamp falls over/down.
• Do not leave packaging material carelessly lying around, since it could become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• In commercial institutions, the accident prevention regulations of the Employer's
Liability Insurance Association for Electrical Systems and Operating Facilities are
to be observed!

b) Operation
• The product may be installed and used only in dry, enclosed locations indoors. The
product must not get damp or wet, as the wall plug transformer can pose the risk of
a fatal electric shock!
• Do not use the LED table lamp in rooms, or under adverse environmental condi-
tions, where combustible gases, vapours or dust are or may be present! There is
a risk of explosion!
• Never place the product on an unstable or movable surface. Always place the LED
table lamp in such a way that it cannot tilt or topple over. Select a horizontal, level
and fl at surface.
Persons may be injured if the product topples/falls over. Furthermore, the product
will be damaged.
• The product becomes very hot around the LED bulb; there is a risk of burns! Take
the necessary care when using the LED table lamp!
• Do not hang any items (e.g. decorations) on the LED table lamp. There is a risk of
fi re!
• The product must not be exposed to extreme temperatures, strong vibrations or
heavy mechanical stress.
• The product is suitable for use only in temperate, not tropical, climates.
• Caution, LED light:
Do not look directly into the LED light!
Do not look into the beam directly or with optical instruments!
• Attention, important!
The LED table lamp may only be used when powered by the included wall
plug transformer. This is not a conventional wall plug transformer with
fi xed and solid output voltage but a LED converter with constant current of
700 mA.
If you connect a conventional power adapter to the LED table light, this will
lead to the immediate destruction of the lamp, loss of warranty!
• The mains socket into which the wall plug transformer is plugged must be easily
accessible.
• If the wall plug transformer is damaged, do not use the product any longer.
Switch off the mains socket to which the wall plug transformer is connected (switch
off at the corresponding circuit breaker or remove the safety fuse, then switch off
the earth leakage circuit breaker). Unplug the wall plug transformer out from the
mains socket.
Replace the defective wall plug transformer only with a wall plug transformer of
the same design with a constant current output of 700 mA. Never use a wall plug
transformer with constant voltage output!
• If it can be assumed that safe operation is no longer possible, the device must be
turned off and precautions are to be taken to ensure that it is not used unintention-
ally.
Safe operation can no longer be assumed if:
- the product shows visible signs of damage
- the product does not work at all or works poorly (where there is fl ickering light,
leaking smoke or a smell of burning, audible crackling noises, or discolouration
of the product or to adjacent surfaces)
- the product was stored for a longer period of time in unfavourable conditions
- it was exposed to heavy loads during transport
• For safety reasons, unplug the wall plug transformer from the mains socket before
cleaning the product or when the product is not to be used for a while (e.g. during
storage).
