GROUNDED PLUG
To reduce the risk of electric shock this appliance has a grounded plug.
(2 blades and 1 pin) If the plug does not fit fully into the electrical outlet
contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way or use
an adaptor.
BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Read all instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.
2. Remove all packaging.
3. Water boiled for the first time should be discarded.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Fill Kettle with a minimum of 1 cup of water.
DO NOT attempt to fill the Kettle while it is plugged into the wall outlet.
DO NOT use for other than boiling water. Other liquids will contaminate
the interior of the Kettle.
DO NOT overfill as this may cause water to spill out when boiling.
2. Plug power cord into a 120V AC wall outlet. NEVER PLUG THE KETTLE
INTO THE WALL OUTLET WHEN EMPTY.
3. Water will boil until plug is removed from the wall outlet or until the
water has evaporated.
4. If the Kettle is plugged in dry or is allowed to boil dry, the thermostat
will automatically shut off the Kettle to prevent from overheating. If this
situation occurs, unplug the power cord and let Kettle cool. Press the red
reset button under the kettle. Fill the kettle and plug into the wall outlet.
5. Always remove the plug from the wall outlet before pouring. The power
cord must be disconnected from the wall outlet when not in use.
