Troubleshooting

LCD displays the Add Water icon.
Tank is empty.
Water level in the tank is lower than the height of the float. Minimum water level is
500 ml of water.
Float may be stuck. Remove reservoir and shake it.
LCD displays the Add Coffee icon.
Ensure filter basket is in place and coffee drawer is fully closed.
Remove coffee from filter basket, leaving the basket in the drawer. Reset scales to
zero, then add coffee.
Coffee scales always display weight in Accu-Brew mode.
Add filter basket and filter paper to the coffee drawer without any coffee. Reset
scales to zero, then add coffee. Scales must always be reset to zero with filter basket
in place before adding coffee for accurate readings.
LCD displays the Water Filter icon.
Water filter needs to be replaced. See 'Wolf Gourmet Coffee System Parts and
Features' page for instructions on how to order a new filter.
The water filter icon will not disappear from the display until the counter is reset.
To reset the water filter reminder, turn the Mode Selector to Clean mode, and hold
down the Zero button until the water filter icon disappears.
Coffee is not dispensing.
Ensure jug is in place.
Overflow protection may have been activated. If a lot of coffee has been added and
the filter basket is about to overflow, the scales will detect this and the heater will
turn off to allow the basket to drain. Once the coffee has drained to a certain level,
the heater will turn back on and finish brewing. The unit will continue to display the
Brewing icon while this feature is activated.
Coffee tastes unpleasant.
Too much or too little water was added.
Too much or too little coffee was added.
Poor quality or freshness of coffee.
Poor water quality. Use filtered or bottled water for a better flavour.
