MOUNTING THE WIRELESS
MOTION DETECTOR
The wireless motion detector is suitable
for both outdoor and indoor use. The
wireless motion detector should be
positioned at least 1 metre away from
lights, heaters, and other sources of heat
so as not to cause faulty operation.
Make sure that cables or lines are not
damaged when drilling holes in the wall
or screwing in the mount.
In order to ensure optimum detection,
the motion detector must be positioned
so that the object to be detected does not
approach the motion detector, but passes
it from left to right or vice versa. This
should be taken into consideration when
mounting the wireless motion detector.
14
Mount the motion detector as
shown in Fig. 2.
1. Lift the cover of the motion sensor from
the lower part.
2. Drill the hole for the lower fixing screw.
3. Mount the screw so that the head of the
screw still has about 2-3mm air to the wall.
4. Place the motion detector on this screw and
mark the hole for the second screw.
5. Put the motion detector aside and drill the
second hole.
Note:
Depending on the surface, use dowels to
hold the screws in place.
6. Place the motion detector on the lower
screw and then fix it with the upper screw.
