8. FAILURES

PROBLEMS :
The flame ignites then goes out immediately.
Nothing happens when the remote control is
operated.
Gas is not emitted (there is no sound). Or,
the spark is started off (no "tac-tac" sound
from the igniter).
The gas flows but does not ignite.
QUESTIONS :
Cylinder insufficiently full ?
Is the battery charged ?
Is the cylinder open?
Is the gas control valve at 0?
The bath is full of gas?
There is water between the
electrodes?
Has powder been used for
extinction?
Can the "tac-tac" be heard
of the igniter?

SOLUTIONS :
A 13 kg cylinder weighs approx
27,5 kgs. Replace the cylinder.
Change the battery.
Open the cylinder.
Put the gauge betwen 0 and 1.
Wait a few moments to ventilate.
Tap the bath to remove the water
droplet.
The electrodes are encrusted. Wash
with water and dry with compressed air.
If no, the igniter is possibly burnt. If so,
change is needed by our engineer.
