The heat pump and control must always be powered separately.
CTC EcoZenith I 550
The CTC EcoZenith version 3 is available in two different variants. An earlier
variant with only one communication port, and a later one with three such
ports. The later one will have a serial number starting from:

For the later variant a CTC Converter is needed for each version 4 heat
pump.

Version 3 and 4

The CTC Converter "translates" the control from Version 3 (V3) to the heat
pump version 4 (V4).
Version 3 (V3)
Common to version 3 (V3) is that they have a control with an "OK" button.
See figure 1 to the right.
These control models are CTC EcoEl V3, CTC EcoZenith 550,
CTC EcoLogic V3
Version 4 (V4)
Common to version V4 is that they have a control with a display. See figure 2
to the right.
These heat pumps are: CTC EcoAir 406, 408, 410, 415, 420 and
CTC EcoPart 406, 408, 410, 412, 414, 417,

The first CTC EcoZenith 550, CTC EcoLogic V3 and CTC EcoLogic EXT
products only had one communication terminal block to control up to 3 heat
pumps.
The later CTC EcoZenith 550 and CTC EcoLogic EXT products had three
communication terminal blocks to control up to 3 heat pumps.
