5 Activation of total surveillance Mode

Activation of total surveillance can be implemented from any code: the customer code, the
three service codes, the three sector 1 codes, or the three sector 2 codes.
Prior to putting the installation into surveillance mode, the user must always check that the
various doors and windows are properly closed before typing the sequence on the keypad:
Two cases are possible:
1 If the control unit does not detect any anomalies, the exit time delay is activated:
The keypad outputs a continuous signal for the entire duration of the exit time
delay,
If the option has been programmed, then the siren and/or the intercom system
output three audible beeps,
The "Total surveillance" symbol (g) lights up,
If the control unit has been programmed to manage both sectors, the symbols
"Sector 1" (e) and "Sector 2" (f) light up.
The user must have left the premises and closed the doors before the end of this time
delay.
At the end of the time delay, the red indicator light (8) lights up. The control unit switches
to surveillance mode.
If the option has been programmed, the control unit sends information to the call centre.
When this call has been taken into account, the control unit outputs a confirmation
signal. If this call fails, the control unit outputs an error signal.
If a sensor is in alarm mode (open) at the end of the time delay, the control unit triggers
an alarm and transmits the information.
2 If a sensor with no time delay is in alarm mode (open), if the self-protection is in fault
mode or if the battery is weak, the keypad outputs a refusal signal and displays the
reason for the refusal.
The user can correct the anomaly or force the system into surveillance mode:
10 seconds after the display of the reason for refusal the keypad proposes to force the
activation of the surveillance mode.
The user must press the "OK" key again, to confirm the activation. In this case, the
anomaly is ignored, the control changes to surveillance mode, but the event is stored in
the log of actions.
The user can also isolate a loop or a defective sensor.
If the control unit is equipped with the radio option, and if the equipment is
appropriate, the activation of total surveillance can be carried out by means of a
remote control handset or a radio keypad.
If the control unit detects an anomaly, the system refuses to activate surveillance.
