Appropriate Use

The products described
developed in order to carry out safety-related
functions as part of a complete system or machine.
It is the responsibility of the manufacturer of a
system or machine to ensure the correct overall
function.
The safety-monitoring module must be exclusively
used in accordance with the versions listed below or
for the applications authorised by the manufacturer.
Avoid mechanical vibrations greater than 5 g/33 Hz
both when transporting and in operation.

Safety Instructions

Replacement and use of components, which are not
certified by the producer may cause safety risk.
Adequate fuse protection must be provided on all
output contacts with capacitive and inductive loads.
The safety contacts are separated safely regarding
to DIN VDE 0110 Part 1 up to 300 V.

Warning About Misuse

In case of inadequate or improper
use or manipulations of the safety-
monitoring
hazards or damages to machinery
or plant components cannot be
excluded.

3.1
The safety-monitoring module evaluates the signal
of one OSE safety edge (signal generator). The
safety-monitoring module is intended to be mounted
in a control cabinet (IP54).
The safety-monitoring module must only be used in
module, personal
combination with the transmitter/receiver unit (OSE-
T 1xxx/OSE-R 1xxx).
If the connected safety edge is actuated, the safety
contacts of the safety-monitoring module are
opened.
