SAFETY IN THE WORK AREA
• Do not use the machine at extreme temperatures or in excessively humid environments.
• Do not use this machine in explosive atmospheres in the presence of flammable liquids, gases and dust.
• Keep the work area clean and well lit. Cluttered, dark areas can cause accidents.
• Remove all objects from the work area before starting this machine. Objects near the product may be touched
and projected by the machine causing personal injury.
• Keep children, people, or animals away while operating this machine.
• Remember that the machine operator is responsible for hazards and accidents caused to other people or things.
Under no circumstances shall the manufacturer be liable for damage caused by improper or incorrect use of this
machine.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

• This equipment can be a potential source of electric shock if not used correctly.
• Ensure that all power supplies meet the voltage requirements of the equipment before connecting or
disconnecting the equipment.
• Keep equipment away from water and excessive moisture.
• Do not use electrical cables to lift, move or carry equipment.
• Ensure that electrical cables do not present a tripping hazard.
SAFETY IN MAINTENANCE, TRANSPORT AND STORAGE
• Perform regular maintenance on the machine.
• Do not attempt any maintenance or repair work that is not described in this instruction manual. We recommend
that maintenance and repairs not described in this manual be carried out by an authorised service centre.
• Check that the cutting blade is correctly installed and securely fastened, and replace the cutting blades or any
other cracked, chipped or damaged parts.
• Keep handles dry and clean. Dirty handles can lead to loss of control.
• Avoid accidentally starting the machine. Make sure the switch is in the "off" position before picking up or
transporting this machine. Transporting electric machines with the switch in the "on" position may endanger
your safety and cause an accident.
• Disconnect the battery from the machine before making adjustments, cleaning, or storing the machine.
• When transporting or storing the hedge trimmer, always secure the cutting device cover.
• Keep the product with the battery disconnected out of the reach of children.
