Operating Elements
1 LED panel
2 Base
3 Mounting holes
Operation
It is recommended to test the device and settings while you are at home to
make sure the timing, settings and location are correct.
Redirect projected light by adjusting the inclination angle using the hinge
between the LED panel (1) and the base (2).
a) Placement
The simulator can be placed on a flat surface, attached using the supplied adhesive
tape, or mounted to a flat surface.
Adhesive Tape
• Make sure the surface is even, smooth, clean and dry.
• The adhesive tape should line up with the mounting holes (3). Check this before
sticking it onto the base (2).
• Peel away the other side of the adhesive paper and stick the device down to the
chosen surface.
Mounting
• Use the mounting holes (3) as a template to mark where to drill.
• Drill the holes using a ø6 mm bit then insert the plastic dowels if needed.
• Secure the device using the supplied screws.
Depending on the surface material, different screws and dowels may be
required.
a) Connect to Power Supply
• Connect one end of the power adaptor to the 9 V/DC input jack (6), and the other
end to a mains power supply.
b) Function Switch
Slide the function switch (5) to one of the following positions:
Function Description
+4
DUSK+4HRS
This mode can be used if it gets dark later e.g. 9 pm.
Two LEDs light up to indicate this mode is active.
When light levels drop below 0.5 lux, the LED simulation will run for 4
hours then switch to standby.
If the light levels rise above 0.5 lux, the LED simulation will stay on
until 4 hours have elapsed.
+7
DUSK+7HRS
This mode can be used if it gets dark earlier e.g. 6 pm.
Three LEDs light up to indicate this mode is active.
When light levels drop to below 0.5 lux, the LED simulation will run for
7 hours then switch to standby.
If the light levels rise above 0.5 lux, the LED simulation will stay on
until 7 hours have elapsed.
ON
The LED simulation will run and give the appearance of a television
always ON.
OFF
Turn the unit OFF.

Using an External Timer
An external timer (sold separately e.g. Item No.: 1289403, 1528594, 1528589,
1528590, 1528581, 1528591, 1625525, 1528595) can be used to activate the unit at
4
times not supported by the light sensor.
5
• The timer is plugged between the mains socket and the mains adapter of the
television simulator.
6
• Slide function switch (4) to the ON position.
Care and Cleaning
• Disconnect the product from the mains before each cleaning.
• Do not use any aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions as they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
• Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
