3.3. Installing the pedestal adapter on the hood
hairdryer
Note – Positioning aid:
A wide and a narrow groove ① in the spigot on the hood hairdryer
positioning aid when inserting the pedestal adapter STA1 for ST3 or ST5

3.4. Installing the hood hairdryer with pedestal adapter
on the pedestal tube ST3
Note – Please observe the Installation Instructions for the pedestal ST3:
Install the pedestal tube ST3 / ST5
accordance with the currently valid Installation Instructions for the pedestal ST3.
6th Insert the hood hairdryer
into the pedestal tube ST3 / ST5
7th Lock the pedestal adapter STA1 for ST3 or ST5
currently valid Installation Instructions for the pedestal ST3) on the pedestal
tube ST3 / ST5 using the retaining element.
8th Now connect the power plug to a socket.
4 Maintenance and guarantee
Regularly check the mains cable on the pedestal adapter STA1 for ST3 or ST5
The equipment may no longer be operated should it get damaged. Please contact
Customer Service or an authorised Service partner to exchange the STA1 tripod
adapter for ST3 or ST5 .
The mains cable on the pedestal adapter STA1 for ST3 or ST5
replaced.
Please see the attached insert sheet in your operating instructions of your drying
hood for information on the guarantee.
