METAL AND POWER DETECTOR
Warning: Please read this instruction manual carefully before using the instrument
and keep it for future use.
A. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. The device is intended exclusively for private and not for commercial use. Only use
this device as describe in this instruction manual.
2. Keep it away from heat sources such as radiators, to avoid deformation of plastic
parts.
3.
Do not use coarse or abrasive sponges/cloths or steel wool to clean the appliance.
B. HOW TO USE IT
EN
1) Insert or replace batteries
- Remove the battery cover on the back of the unit.
- Insert 4 x LR44 1.5V batteries observing the correct polarity indicated.
- Replace the cover.
2) Operation
a) Self-test
Prior to use, please perform self-test to ensure the device is working well.
METAL OBJET DETECTION
Set the swich to « I » position and open the metal sensor.
Slightly adjust the sensitivity knob until LED
and buzzer goes off.
If the LED lights up and buzzer sounds, that means the device is working well.
If the buzzer sounds continuosly, that means battery are empty and need to be replaced by
new ones.
Please check part 1) from this manual and follow instruction carefully to replace the battery.
AC VOLTAGE DETECTION
Set the swich to « II » position without opening the metal
sensor.
Slightly adjust the sensitivity knob until LED
and buzzer goes off.
If the LED lights up and buzzer sounds, that means the device is working well.
Move the metal sensor near the metal
object
Move the metal sensor near a known AC
voltage source.
