PROBLEM

The motor does not start

CAUSES

Insufficient power supply
Connections unstable
Faulty switch
Burnt rotor
Faulty motor
Cable extension is too long (more than 7 m)
Unsuitable cable cross section
Unstable connections
Worn out carbon brushes
Driving belt at a wrong tension
Burnt rotor
Faulty motor
Unsuitable or worn out abrasive

SOLUTIONS

Check the power supply or try on a different job-site
They must be checked and arranged (contact an authori-
zed Bona dealer)
It must be replaced (contact an authorized Bona dealer)
It must be replaced (contact an authorized Bona dealer
and avoid pressing on the arm while sanding: this over
warms the motor)
