Lower the unit head and grind the tooth slowly.
Release the chain and get ahead two teeth further using the stop (differ between the right and the left teeth, all the teeth on a
side should be sharpened at first)
Repeat the steps so that each teeth is sharpened (to work the teeth on the opposite side, the sharpener head has to be set at
the equal angle on the opposite side; see also Fig. 4)

The machine will serve as a sufficient aid only if maintained and care for appropriately. Insufficient maintenance and care may result
in accidents and injuries.
The disc is not allowed to be fitted on the head with force.
The grinding disc bored centre hole diameter shall not be altered.
Only grinding discs fit for the unit are allowed for the use.
Any works in the unit should be done with the unit switched off.

Use only the disc fitted for the use in this unit.
Only perfect grinding discs are allowed for use to prevent
injuries.
To check for hidden defects of the grinding disc, a sound test may be
performed.
To test the disc, pull a pencil through the hole so that the disc may
vibrate freely (see Fig. 11). Now, tap the disc edge with another
pencil. The sound of the disc should be high and clear. If the sound is
muffled or plonk, the disk is damaged and hot fit for use.
A muffled sound indicates fissures etc.
