10. Unwind the supply cord completely before use. DO NOT use the appliance while the
power cord is coiled as this may cause overheating. Do not bend, stretch or pull the
supply cable in order to avoid electric shock.
11. Ensure the rated voltage shown on the rating label corresponds with the voltage of the
power supply.
12. Connect the mains plug to an easily accessible socket, in order to quickly disconnect the
appliance from the mains supply in an emergency.
13. NEVER pull the plugs out of sockets using the cable, or pull on the cables to manoeuvre
the device.

pulling the plug.
15. CAUTION: Do not open the housing under any circumstances. Do not insert fingers or
foreign objects in any opening of the appliance and do not obstruct the air vents. The
unit should have good ventilation. Do not run the cooling device in a closed compartment
such as car boot. The ventilation slots shall be kept clear for the unit to work properly
and prevent dangerous overheating. Do not cover the appliance.
16. To avoid contamination of food, please respect the following instructions:
- Do not leave the lid open longer than necessary as it may cause a significant
temperature increase in the compartment of the appliance,
- Regularly wipe the surface that comes in contact with food inside and outside with a
damp cloth for hygienic reasons.
- If the cooler is left empty for long periods, unplug it, defrost, clean thoroughly, dry
completely, and leave the lid open to prevent mould developing within the appliance.

alternator should provide enough power.
23. DO NOT connect directly to a 24 V DC lighter socket.
24. Use only with a 12 V DC (negative earth) or a 230 V AC mains supply. When using a
230 V AC mains electric supply it is advisable to use a residual current device (RCD).
25. To maximise the cooling effect after the unit is disconnected, keep the lid closed.
26. Pay attention when manoeuvring or lifting the cooler as it may be heavy when fully
loaded. Only lift if it is within your own physical capabilities.
27. When using the cooler with the 12 V DC supply, the plug will become warm during use.
Ensure that the vehicle socket is clean and clear of debris, and the electrical contact is
good to avoid the plug/socket overheating.
28. Take care when removing the plug from the 12 V DC socket and DO NOT touch the metal
contacts which may be hot.
29. Danger of electric shock! Do not attempt to repair the appliance yourself. Improper
