4. Initial use

1. Push open the battery compartment cover on the underneath in
the direction of the arrow.
2. Insert two AAA batteries. When inserting the
batteries, pay attention to the correct polarity (+/−),
as shown in the battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment by pressing the bat-
tery compartment cover down and pushing it in the opposite di-
rection to the arrow on the cover. Once the batteries have been
inserted, the device briefly displays " ____ ". The current room tem-
perature and the relative humidity are then shown.
4. Position the thermo hygrometer in the middle of the room as far
as is possible (without a draught).
5. Download the free "beurer FreshRoom" app from the Apple App
Store (iOS) or at Google Play (Android).

6. Open the "beurer FreshRoom" app and follow the instructions
in the app.
