1.4. Intended users of the manual
This manual is an indispensable guide for all users who, at various levels, can use and
manage the machine when performing their tasks. The possible professional profiles
are outlined below:
User:
Person, body or company who purchases or leases the machine and who will use it for its
intended use. They are responsible for the machine and training those working around it.
Operator:
Person trained for machine use.
He or she can operate the machine using the commands on the keypad. This person can
only carry out simple adjustments on it. He or she is not authorised to carry out
maintenance on the electrical or mechanical system of the machine.
Mechanical maintenance technician:
Specialist technician capable of intervening on the mechanical units and drives to carry
out all the necessary maintenance and repairs. He or she is not authorised to carry out
electrical maintenance on the machine.
Electrical maintenance technician:
Specialist technician capable of working with voltage present inside the electric panels or
shunt boxes. He or she is not authorised to carry out maintenance on the mechanical
parts.
1.5. Proper use and misuse of the machine
The machine is intended for the exclusive use of harvesting olives through vibration.
It is intended for professional use. Operators must have proven suitability and be capable
of reading and understanding the provisions of this manual. The machine should be used
considering the standards in force on accident prevention, the use conditions and the
characteristics of the machine.
DANGER:
Pay attention not to use the machine in environments with an
explosive atmosphere, and do not use during bad weather or storms!
1.6. Guards and safety devices
The machine is equipped with safety devices to protect the operator from all its moving
parts.
Safety casing: Fixed device that prevents direct contact with units in motion or dangerous
parts of the machine. The guard can only be removed using specific tools.
When the machine is working, the safety casing should be correctly assembled.
