Our advice
Sit in the wheelchair
Before you sit in the wheelchair, it must be put on the brake on both sides. The brakes are
against the rear wheels. Fold up the foot plates or swing them out. You stand against the
wheelchair with your knees. Look for support with the armrests and sit as far back as
possible. Place your feet on the footrests.
Riding with the wheelchair
A wheelchair with large rear wheels can be moved by the user himself by pulling the hoops
forward. To steer you pull one hoop forward more than the other. Bear in mind that all
pavements run down to the road and that a wheelchair that is not on the brake can drive.
Sidewalks
Driving up a sidewalk is easiest when the person pushing the wheelchair is driving up to the
curb, then putting the foot on the wheelchair's head, which causes the front wheels to rise
and then the front wheels will be put on the sidewalk and continues to move the rear wheels
on the pavement. Driving down a pavement is best done by turning the wheelchair and going
backwards on the sidewalk. Always take a curb at right angles.
Get up from the wheelchair
Place the wheelchair on the brake on both sides. Fold up the foot plates or swing them out.
User puts the feet on the ground and presses up on both armrests.
Folding the wheelchair
If there is a cushion in it, take it out first. Pull the center of the mattress up with both hands
until it stops. Do not forget to fold up the footplates first or remove the footrests completely.
Unfolding the wheelchair
Grasp the tubes on both sides of the seat and push them apart until it stops.
Flipping of the back support
The backrest of this wheelchair can be folded backwards by pressing the 2 unlocking clips on
the back of the backrest and gently folding the backrest backwards. This way the wheelchair
is folded extra compactly.
