SETTING THE TIMER FUNCTION

The timer function can be used in two way: cooking timer and egg timer.
Cooking timer
The cooking timer is coupled to a cooking zone and can be set separately for each cooking zone. Contrary to the egg timer,
the cooking timer switches off the cooking zone when the set time has passed.
• Switch on the cooking section with the ON/OFF key
• Adjust the power with the + and - keys.
• Press the TIMER key
• The burning LED indicates for which cooking zone the cooking timer has been set.
The cooking timer can be set independently on all operating cooking zones.
When more than one cooking timer is set on the display of the timer, the shortest time is shown. The flashing
LED indicates for which cooking zone this is.
When the set cooking time has expired, a beep sound can be heard. The beep sound stops automatically after 2 minutes or
after a random key has been touched.
The programmed cooking zone is switched off and [H] appears in the display if the area of the cooking zone is hot.
To set an additional cooking timer, proceed as follows:
• Select a different cooking zone
• Adjust the power with the + and - keys.
• Press the TIMER key
• The burning LED indicates for which cooking zone the cooking timer has been set.
• 10 seconds after the last setting, the display shows the time of the cooking zone of which the time expires first (if several
cooking zones are programmed). The accompanying LED flashes in the display.
To adjust the set cooking time, proceed as follows:
• Select the required cooking zone
• Press the TIMER key
• Set the new required cooking time using the + and - keys.
Switching off the cooking timer manually, if necessary:
• Select the cooking zone
• Then press the TIMER key
Egg timer
The egg timer can be used as an extra alarm, without having a cooking timer set for one of the cooking zones.
• Switch on the cooking section using the ON/OFF key
• Then press the TIMER key
The egg timer can be set from 0 to 99 minutes. If no keys are pressed during 10 seconds, the egg timer starts automatically
and the time is counted down.
When the set time has passed, a beep sounds and the timer flashes. The beep sound stops automatically after 2 minutes or
after a random key has been touched.
To change the time, press the TIMER key
