BEFORE THE FIRST USE
Before using the appliance for the first time, make sure the 4 feet are fitted correctly
underneath the appliance. Never use the appliance if the feet are not fitted correctly as this
would damage the appliance and the work surface underneath the appliance.
USE
First check that the voltage marked on the product is the same as your supply voltage.
Select a suitable position close to an electric socket, on a dry and even surface.
Make sure the controls are in the OFF position (0). Plug in.
The invisible protective coating must be removed before you can use the appliance. To
do this, set the controls to the maximum setting and leave switched on for approximately
10 minutes. Smoke will develop, make sure that the room is ventilated. Switch off the
cooking plates and allow to cool down completely. The cooking plates are now ready for
use.
Always use flat-bottomed saucepans, which make good contact with the cooking plates.
The saucepan bases should ideally be of the same size as the cooking plates.
Select the temperature. The cooking plates have a range of temperatures.
Due to the cooking plates' construction, residual heat will remain after switching off. This
may be used to keep food warm for a short period.
