6. Functional description / operating instructions

Please read these operating instructions carefully so that you are familiar
with, and are able to use, all of the functions of your Ex-RSM Aurelis BT. For
your own safety and information please read through the instructions on the
following pages!

6.1 Functional description

6.2 Start-up

6.2.1 Charging of the battery

Before you first switch on the device, please make sure the battery is fully
charged. The battery should be charged for the first time for at least 5-6
hours.

6.2.2 Connection to mobile phones

You can turn the Ex-RSM Aurelis BT on while pushing the button On/Off for
approx. 2-3 seconds until the button flashes in red and blue colors. The Ex-RSM
Aurelis BT reports with the message "Bluetooth On".
If you connect the Ex-RSM Aurelis BT to a mobile phone, please make sure the
Bluetooth of the mobile phone is switched on. For more detailed instruction ple-
ase look at your mobile phones instruction manual.
