This device is only for casting a socket that is for use in combination with Silcare Breathe Locking
Liner.

2 Casting the Socket with the Casting Dummy
Sockets with sharp proximal edges can tear the device.
When casting the socket, use the casting dummy to make sure that the distal end of the socket
has space for the valve to open. Otherwise, moisture will collect inside the device.
Note: Do not use the casting dummy for any purpose other than to cast the socket.
1. Trim the edge of the casting dummy so that it covers the distal cap and does not overlap it.
2. Put the casting dummy over the distal cap.
3. Cast the socket.
After casting the socket with the casting dummy, the valve should have enough space
to open.
