HQ Sportkites Fazer Mode D'emploi

This all-round Speedkite combines tight loops, high speed, remar-
kable pull and precision maneuvers into a dynamic fun-package.
The Fazer is a real eye-catcher with its sporty graphics and
beautiful design. Solid construction and high quality workmanship
guarantee many hours of fun to come in a large windrange.
Please consult the general assembly instructions »Guide to Fly-
ing Sport Steering Kites« which is included with the kite when
assembling the kite.
1) Tensioning the leading edge
The leading edge is tensioned with a short cord at the wing end
via a split cap. Tensioning should require some strength so that
good leading edge is guaranteed. The small knot can be moved
later to adjust the tension if required.
2) Inserting sail battens
The win ends are equipped with so-called "winglets". To assem-
ble, first insert the short sail battens into the small pouches on
the drag edge, and then insert them into the connector on the
leading edge.
3) Tensioning the trailingedge
The seam of the trailingedge contains a thin cord which can be
used to tension the trailingedge. This makes it possible to fly the
kite largely without sound.
This seam tensioning cord is tensioned via a bungee in the area
of the center cross. If it is necessary to increase the tension, one
can raise the double knot with which this line is fastened to the
rubber band slightly in the direction of the central cross. If the
drag edge develops small wrinkles, this indicates excessively high
tension.
