Memory management:
This device relies on space to store a total of 32 temperature values. The va-
lues are automatically saved as the readings are taken and in the case that the
memory is full the newest reading will replace the oldest. Each time a reading
is taken this appears on the lower right part (10) of the LCD screen and its
storage position appears on the lower left hand corner (5).
Press on the keys (6) and (9) when the thermometer is on to access the me-
mory. You can move through all stored readings using both keys.
Settings:
You can access the settings menu of the device to change the temperature
units, to configure an alarm, to calibrate the device or to activate/deactivate
the sound. To access this menu you must press the MODE key (8) for a couple
of seconds. "F1" will appear on the screen after a beep. It is the firstelement
that can be adjusted. By pressing the Mode (8) key again you will be able to
move through the settings menu and go through the rest of the configurable
elements.
F1. Setting the alarm: once inside the settings menu, when "F1" appears on
the screen the devicee will be ready for you to select the body temperature
from which you wish the acoustic alarm sound when a reading is taken. By
pressing the up (6) and down (9) keys you can modify the warning tempera-
ture by intervals of 0.1ºC/0.1ºF. The predetermined value is 38ºC / 100.4ºF.

The reading of polished or shiny
surfaces cannot be taken with the
infrared thermometer. Take the
temperature using other means.
Remove any possible element from the
area that can cause an incorrect reading
of thermometer and take the reading
again.
