1. Scope of delivery

2. Product description
This electronic flying insect exterminator works without
chemicals and does not cause any environmental pollution
whatsoever. Bothersome biting and stinging insects (above
all mosquitoes) and small flies are attracted by ultraviolet
light. On the way to the light source, the insects are killed
quickly and hygienically by touching the high-voltage electro-
des, which are not dangerous to human beings.
3. Putting into operation
1. It is recommended to hang up the device 1.5 to 3 metres
above the ground. The blue lamp attracts flying insects.
Do not hang up the device too close to other light sour-
ces. Generally, the darkest place in the room that is to be
protected is the best. When hanging up the device, keep a
certain distance to persons and foodstuff in order to avoid
the insects coming too near to you. When using the de-
vice, close windows and doors if possible.

2. Do not hang up the device in front of an open window or
an open door as the insects do not stay in draught areas.
4. Switching on the device
By plugging the device into the mains socket of your house
installation the insect killer is operable.
5. Safety instructions
1. The device should be kept away from children and there-
fore be stored accordingly.
2. Only hang up the device on the suspension ring and never
on the power cord.
3. Hang up the device in a height where it is out of children's'
reach.
4. The device is not suitable for use in agricultural buildings
such as stables, barns, etc. It is not suitable for use in
commercial enterprises like grocer's shops, butcher's
shops, etc. either.
5. The device is suitable for indoor use only.
6. Check the power cord for damages prior to each power
connection of the device. Damaged power cords or lamps
must be exchanged immediately by an appropriately trai-
ned, skilled person in order to avoid dangers.
7. Do not operate the device if it shows any damages.
8. Do not use the device for any other purpose than the in-
tended one.
9. Children shall not play with the appliance.
10. The appliance can be used by children aged from 8 and
above and person with reduced physical, sensory or men-
tal capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
11. The device is not suitable for use in rooms with easily in-
flammable liquids, explosive gases, and dust.
12. Do not touch the device with any objects.
13. Do not try to repair the device yourself.
14. Concerning cleaning and maintenance of the device please
make sure you follow the corresponding notices of this
manual.
