Cleaning
Use only a damp cloth with mild detergents for cleaning.
Never use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with hard bristles or other sharp objects. They may damage the surfaces.
The awning fabric can be cleaned using warm soapy water and then rinsed with clean water for example. After cleaning, allow the
awning fabric to dry completely, as there is a risk of stains and mold as well as damage to the awning fabric and the seams.
The awning is made of powder-coated steel and/or aluminum components. The fittings are made of corrosion-resistant materials.
The awning must be cleaned regularly as dust and dirt accumulate over time.
The aluminum/steel components (e.g. cassette, tension unit) can be cleaned with a soft cloth, mild non-abrasive detergent and
water.
Maintenance
Safe and proper use of the side awning can only be guaranteed if the system is regularly inspected and maintained.
Warning
The side awning should be inspected periodically or before each use for signs of wear and damage to the cassette, fittings, lock
and tension unit. If damage is detected, please contact a dealer or qualified specialist for repair. The side awning must not be used
if it is in need of repair.
Disposal
Keep environmental protection in mind. There is a public return system for disposal of packaging materials and old devices.
