The appliance must only be used with tea and water. Use of any other
liquid (milk, lemon juice, etc.) or food (sugar, honey, coffee, cocoa, etc.)
is strictly prohibited and will void the warranty.
• Unscrew the mug (7) from the base – Fig. A.
• Make absolutely sure that the grill (6) is correctly in position.
• Put the loose tea or tea bag in the infusion chamber (5) – Fig. K1 or K2.
- Do not put tea in the apertures. Block the pump output with your
thumb – Fig. K1.
- Remove paper label from tea bags.
Quantity: 4 g maximum (approx. 2 teaspoons) of loose tea or 2 teabags.
• Clean the surface of the seal if required then attach the mug (7) and twist
until it stops – Figs. E and F.
• Heat the water separately (see infusion guide below).
• Slowly pour the hot water into the mug (7) up to a maximum of 4/5ths
(maximum volume in the mug – 350 ml) – Fig. L.
• Close the lid (8) and lip (9) properly – Fig. G.
• Select the infusion time depending on the tea used (see infusion guide
below), by pressing the power button (3) – Fig. M:
- 1 press = Green indicator = 3 minutes
- 2 presses = Blue indicator
- 3 presses = Red indicator
- 4 presses = Extinguished
- The colour indicator remains illuminated during the infusion process
and the pump functions intermittently.
- You can extend the infusion time by starting a 2
