Charging time
Charging
Before using the shaver for the first time, or when it has not been used for a prolonged period, you
should charge it for 12 hours. The battery charger should be connected to 220-240V, 50/60Hz.
Connect the mains adapter to the shaver and plug the plug into a power socket. The charging lamp
goes on.
Charge the shaver for 8 hours. The batteries will last longer if the appliance is used until they are
completely discharged and then charged to full capacity again.
Do not charge the appliance for too long. There is a risk of the damaging batteries if they are
overcharged.
AC only
Do not use the shaver in the shower.
Do not use products such as shaving foam, gel, soap, or lotion etc.
Connect the mains adapter to an AC power socket and switch off the shaver. Connect the power cord
to the shaver.
If the shaver does not start immediately, charge it for about one minute and try again.
Shaving
1. Switch on the shaver with the power switch. Hold the shaver at right angles (90°) to your skin. Do not
press the shaver too hard in the beginning.
2. Stretch out your skin with the other hand, and move the shaver back and forwards in the direction of
the beard. You can gradually press harder as your skin gets used to the shaver. Pressing too hard
does not result in a closer shave, but can irritate the skin, especially in the beginning.
Shaver heads
The shaver has two shaver heads. They are separately spring-loaded to adapt to the shape of your face.
Trimming
1. Open the trimmer by pushing up the trimmer handle.
2. Hold the trimmer at right angles to your skin and move it downwards to trim sideboards.
Cleaning
WARNING: Risk of electric shock and personal injury. Unplug the power cord from the shaver and switch
it off before cleaning.
1. We recommend cleaning the appliance with water and liquid soap for good hygiene. Regular cleaning
produces better shaving and prevents bad odour.
2. Pour a little liquid soap on the shaver heads.
3. Switch on the shaver and rinse the shaver heads in a little water.
4. Switch off the shaver after about 10-20 seconds. Take off the perforated plate and clean it under
running water.
5. Wipe the shaver with a dry cloth. Leave the protective cover off so that the shaver heads can dry out
properly.
Cleaning with a brush
1. Press the shaver head release buttons and lift off.
2. Remove the inner shaver blades one at once by gripping the short sides and pulling straight up.
3. Use the longer brush to clean the shaver head, casing and trimmer. The inner shaver blades can be
