Description and use

The "Electric Heater" unit is an electrical heater to be
fitted to the cold air inlet duct upstream of the heat
exchanger with the exception of the 2400 W model
which must be fitted to the fresh air supply ducts
downstream of the heat exchanger. It is intended to
resolve the problem of frost formation on the heat
exchanger, caused by the combination of the low
temperatures of external air and the high levels of
moisture in the air in the areas being treated.
The 2400 W (post-heater) model adjusts the air inlet
temperature by means of an adjustable bulb
thermostat that activates the resistance when the
temperature falls below the set value (between -30 °
and + 30 °).
The connection box at the top of the body provides
access to the electrical wiring terminals, and also
contains two thermostats:
-an auto-reset safety thermostat calibrated at 55°C ±
10% for 500/1200/2400 W versions and 45°C ± 10%
for 750 W version.
-a manual reset thermostat calibrated at 85°C ± 10%
for 500/1200/2400 W versions and 70°C ± 10% for
750 W version.
