• The product must only be used for pulling loads. It is not suitable for lifting and
lowering loads.
• Examine the product before every use for damage (e.g. damaged or bent towing
rope). If you notice any damage, do not use the product. All damaged parts must
be replaced by a specialist before re-commissioning the product! Only original
replacement parts must be used.
• The product is only intended for short operation, it is not suitable for continuous
operation. Let the motor cool down sufficiently after each pull.
The product must not be used for pulling, lifting or lowering persons.
• Wear appropriate protective gear e.g. gloves and protective goggles when
operating the product.
• Protect the product from humidity, dampness, dirt/sand, oil/benzene, salt or che-
micals.
• Do not leave packaging material lying around carelessly. It may become a
dangerous plaything for children.
• Handle the product with care, it can be damaged by impacts, blows, or accidental

b) Selection of fastening position for rope winch or towing hook
• Do not use the product in rooms or in poor ambient conditions where flammable
gases, vapours or explosive dust may be present or are present! There is a risk
of explosion!
• Fasten the rope winch and the towing hook only in a suitable position that can
handle the pulling force.
When pulling a load, higher forces might occur simultaneously that are higher
than those specified in the technical data section. Using unsuitable fastening
positions for the rope winches or towing hooks can lead to deformation of the
fastening position. When you detect deformations, discontinue the pulling of the
rope winch immediately to prevent further damage!
• Do not mount additional tools to rope winch, towing rope or towing hook.

°
• Always use the towing hook to fasten the loads. If the towing hook cannot be
fastened to the load, suitable ropes, belts or chains must be attached to it before-
hand.
If the towing rope of the rope winch is used for this purpose, deformation, bending
or other damage may occur at the towing rope!
• Never move the mounting device of the rope winch (e.g. the vehicle with the trailer
coupling to which the rope winch is fastened) when the towing rope is already
attached to the load to be pulled.
That only leads to the overloading and damaging of the rope winch but there is
also a risk of tearing the towing rope or the fastening devices of the rope winch,
or deforming or damaging the towing hook! Furthermore, the rope winch or the
towing hook can come loose off the fastening device!
• Do not attach the towing hook to a load that can move independently. Secure the
load with appropriate measures first.
Otherwise, the load (e.g. a vehicle) may slip off when fastening it! This presents
a danger to life!
• When the rope winch is fastened with the supplied fastening plate e.g. to a trailer
coupling of a vehicle, secure the vehicle with suitable wedges against moving.
Also apply the hand brake and engage the gear. Switch off the engine!
c) Operation
• Never reach into the rope winch. Keep body parts, hair or parts of clothing away
from rope winch, towing rope or other moveable parts during operation, there is a
serious risk of injury!
Do not stick items into the rope winch.
• Keep the space between the rope winch and the load to be moved free from
people and objects. Do not stand before or behind the rope winch or the load to
be pulled. Always position yourself at the side (in a 90° angle to the towing rope).
Keep as much distance to rope winch, towing rope and fastening device as
possible.
If the rope tears during pulling of loads, it can repulse over the full length (towards
the rope winch or the towing hook), danger of injury and to life!
• Never touch the towing rope while pulling loads, never step onto or over the
towing rope!
• Never unwind the towing rope of the rope winch reel when pulling loads, always
leave 4 rounds of rope on the rope winch reel.
• If another rope winch is used, the towing ropes must never cross each other.
• Never use the crank handle to enhance the motor performance of the rope winch,
as this damages the rope winch and there is also a danger of injury.
• If the load to be pulled does not move, discontinue pulling after 10 seconds at
most.
• Never overload the product! Never try to enhance the pulling force of the rope
winch by using additional tools.
• After pulling a load the rope winch must not be used to hold the load. Secure the
load e.g. with suitable ropes, belts or chains. The rope winch does not have a
locking mechanism.
• Separate the rope winch from the power supply when not using it.
d) Storage
• Store the product out of the reach of children.
• Protect the product against corrosion by storing it in a dry and clean place.

rope and towing hook, the product is maintenance-free for you. Never dis-
assemble the product.
