Installation

Important
Three anodes are delivered with the storage tank. Mount the anodes with a liquid
sealant in the right connections (8) before installation. When anodes are not mounted
during operation, all warranty conditions are void.
Note
These products can be installed as vented and unvented. This manual only
discusses unvented installations. For information about vented installations please
contact A.O. Smith.
This figure shows the installation diagram. This diagram is referred to in the sections
describing the actual connection procedure.
