4.1. SUCTION HOSE
NOTE
The suction hose has to be with reinforced structure and non-foldable.
1.
Place the hose connection sleeve [(b) Fig. 09] on the suction port [(a) Fig. 09];
2.
Loose the hose clamp [(c) Fig. 09] and place it on one end of the suction hose [(d) Fig. 09];
3.
Put the suction hose onto the hose connection sleeve and tighten the hose clamp;
4.
Fixe the strainer [(c) Fig. 10] supplied with the pump on the other end of the suction hose
[(a) Fig. 10] with the supplied hose clamp [(b) Fig. 10].
□ Always install the strainer on the end of the suction pipe before pumping. The strainer prevents
the pump becoming clogged or damaged by debris.
NOTE
Check that the suction hose is free from bottle necks or bends.
4.2. DISCHARGE HOSE
1.
Place the hose connection sleeve [(b) Fig. 11] on the discharge port [(a) Fig. 11];
2.
Loose the hose clamp [(c) Fig. 11] and place it on the discharge hose [(d) Fig. 11];
3.
Put the delivery hose [(d) Fig. 11] onto the hose connection sleeve and tighten the hose clamp.
□ Tighten the hose coupling and clamps so that there is no leakage or loss of suction. If the suction
hose is loose, the efficiency and self-priming of the pump are compromised.
□ Tighten the clamps to prevent the hose disconnect under high pressure.
□ Check that the discharge hose is free from bottle necks or bends.
