If both the main unit and the remote control have buttons with
the same function, we only explain procedures using one of them
in this manual. However, the other can also be used in the same
manner.

o The buttons not explained here do not function with this unit.
o This remote control can also be used for other Esoteric products.

Setting (STANDBY/ON) button
On the Settings Screen, use to confirm selection of some set-
tings and to input connector names.
o This button does not turn the unit on/off.

INPUT (k/j) buttons
Press these buttons to switch between input sources. Select the
connector that is connected to the device you want to play.
When the Settings Screen is open, use this to change setting
values.
When inputting a source name, use this to move the cursor.

SETUP button

Use with Settings Screen Menus 1 and 2 (page 21).

DIMMER button

Use to adjust the brightness of the display and indicators (page
20).

VOLUME buttons (+/−)
Use to adjust the volume. Press the + button to increase the vol-
ume and the − button to decrease it.
o The VOLUME buttons (+/−) will not affect input sources set to
through output (page 24).

MUTE button

Press this button to temporarily mute the sound.
Press again to restore the volume setting (page 18).
o When muted, "MUTE" blinks on the screen.
