3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
APPLIANCE LOCATION
The device should always be used when positioned on an
even, stable, clean, fireproof and dry surface, and be out
of the reach of children and persons with limited mental
and sensory functions. Position the device such that you
always have access to the power plug. The power cord
connected to the appliance must be properly grounded
and correspond to the technical details on the product
label. The electrical outlet to which the device will be
connected should be properly grounded.
When positioning the device, follow the diagram below.

5.
After slaughter, dip the poultry in hot water at 60-
80°C for 1 minute. If the water is not hot enough, the
feathers will be difficult to remove. If it is too hot, the
chicken's skin will be damaged.
6.
Open the water flow and switch on the device.
7.
Insert the scalded poultry into the drum of the
device. It can pluck 3-10 pieces depending on the
device model.
WARNING!
•
Do not put your hand into the drum when the device
is in operation.
•
The device should be switched on when the poultry
is put in.
The bottom of the device will spin and water will be
sprayed from above. Feathers and dirt get removed with
water. Too many feathers and too much dirt can slow down
the rotation of the device.
8.
After 15-30 seconds, the poultry is ready for removal.
Turn off the device, wait until it stops completely and
remove the poultry. Any remaining feathers must be
plucked manually.
9.
After using the device, clean it.
Directions for use
•
The plucking fingers are wearing parts. It is
recommended to replace all damaged fingers every
three months or whenever the need arises.
•
After a while, the rotary disk may slow down.
A possible reason is the looseness or deformation
of the drive belt. If that happens adjust the belt or
replace it with a new one.
3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a)
Always unplug the device before cleaning it. Wait for
the rotating elements to stop.
b)
Use only non-corrosive cleaners to clean the surface.
c)
After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
completely before using it again.
d)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
