Check that the voltage stated on the information plate matches the voltage used in your region.
1. Place the motor housing on a sturdy flat surface.
2. Successively place the juice reservoir, pulp reservoir and small press cone on the motor housing.
The small press cone can be used for smaller citrus fruits with little pulp, such as lemons and lime and will be needed
on the appliance for each use.
The large cone must be placed on the small press cone and is used for juicing citrus fruits with more
pulp. The large press cone is also suitable for juicing larger citrus fruits such as grapefruit.
3. If you want to collect the juice straight in a glass, lightly press the spout of the juice reservoir
downwards.
If you prefer to collect the juice in the juice reservoir, press the spout upward until it snaps in place.
4. Insert the plug into the socket.
5. Cut the citrus fruit to be juiced through the middle and press the cut side of the fruit half
on the press cone.
6. Move the press lever downwards and press it on the citrus fruit. By means of the pressure
the motor is activated, the press cone starts to rotate.
The citrus press stops automatically when you stop pressing the press cone by means of the press lever.
Pits and pulps are collected in the pulp reservoir. The protrusions on the small press cone ensure that
extra juice is extracted from the pulp collected in the pulp reservoir. Only the purest juice ends up
in the juice reservoir or glass.
Attention: when the motor of the citrus press produces a lower noise or starts to rotate slower while pressing, you are exerting
too much pressure on the fruit to be juiced. Reduce pressure to continue juicing without any problems.
Do not constantly switch on the citrus press, this could cause problems with the motor. Preferably use the citrus press 1 minute
each time and then leave it off for a few seconds.
Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the citrus press. Clean the press cones, pulp and juice reservoirs with hot
water to which you added a mild washing-up liquid. Then dry these components thoroughly. The loose components may also
be cleaned in the dishwasher.
Clean the motor housing only with a damp cloth.
Clean the press lever with a damp cloth and a little washing-up liquid if necessary.
Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents. Never submerge the appliance, cord or plug in water.
