5.3 Operation
•
Connect the power plug to an appropriate single power socket.
•
In order to dry your hands, keep them right under the hand dryer.
•
As soon as your hands are positioned in the range between 50-200 mm under
the hand dryer, the infrared - sensor is activated and the device switches on
automatically.
•
The warm air flows out of the device and dries your hands. The air temperature is
approx. 60° C.
•
As soon as you remove your hands from the
device, the infrared - sensor is deactivated and
the device automatically switches off.
•
The complete drying time during sensor-
activation is approx. 1 minute.
•
The nozzle of the device is rotable.
6. Cleaning and maintenance
6.1 Safety advice
o Before beginning with repair or cleaning works make sure the device has been
disconnected from power supply and has cooled down.
o Do not use any acid agents and make sure no water ingresses the device.
o To protect yourself from electric shock, never immerse the device, its cables and
the plug in water or other liquids.
CAUTION!
The device is not suited for direct washing via water jets.
Therefore, you must not use any kind of pressure water jet for cleaning the device!
6.2 Cleaning
o The device should be cleaned regularly.
o Clean the housing of the device using a damp cloth and a mild detergent.
o Not at any time should you use aggressive detergents or sprays.
o You must not use flammable detergents for cleaning (spirit etc.), as these could
cause an increased risk / hazard of fire and explosion.
o Only use a soft cloth and make sure you never use any kind of abrasive agents
which could scratch the surface.
o After the cleaning procedure, you should use a soft and dry cloth to wipe dry and
polish the surface.
