4.4 Size of the electrical cables
Always use cables of a suitable cross-section. The minimum cross-sections are listed
in the table below:

For system protection, the fuse must be installed in the positive wires (+) as close as
possible to the battery. We recommend using 15A fuses for 12V and 7.5A fuses for
24V. If using a main switch, it must be able to withstand a minimum current of 20A.
Avoid extra junctions in wiring to prevent voltage drops that can influence battery
protection settings.
AC: Power cables should be connected to zones L and N on the electronic control
unit. Rated Voltage 100-240 VAC 50/60Hz. Max. safety limit 270V AC and min. safety
limit 80V AC. A 4A fuse must be installed on the cable (L) to protect the installation. If
using a main switch, it must be able to withstand a minimum current of 6A. The wire
size must be min. 0.75 mm2 or AWG 18.
Note: ground connection can be used if necessary.
